Notice is hereby given that:
The British Historic Racing (BHR)
Annual General Meeting is to be held on the:
12th November 2022 and will
commence at 1:00pm.
The location: Mercure Daventry
Court Hotel, Sedgemoor Way, Daventry, NN11 0SG
A Social Dinner and Dance to follow
the AGM meeting, dining at 6:30pm (details and menu to be circulated
separately) during which the 2022 Championship Trophy Awards will take place.
Please Note: Admission
to the BHR AGM is for VMCC members only and the onus is on attendees to bring
their membership cards as proof that they are current members of the VMCC.
Please do not forget your membership card as without you cannot gain admission
into the AGM part of the day.
Propositions or proposals for
consideration at this AGM should be made in writing (letter, email, SMS) with a
proposer and a seconder (please include both names and VMCC membership numbers)
by, at the latest, the 12th of October 2022.
Note also that for a proposition to
be considered the proposer or seconder must be present at the meeting.
The agenda for the meeting and a
copy of the draft minutes from the previous AGM will be published after the
closing date and before the 12th of November.
The post of Treasurer and the post
of Chair to BHR both become vacant at this AGM. A job description is available
for any wishing to stand for either of these roles and help and assistance
would be given to the successful candidates.
Those who are due to receive
championship awards will be notified prior to the event and we welcome guests
to join us for the trophy presentations, social dinner and dance.
